There is nothing to update, sorry. After 60 days of inactivity - no messages deposited, and no retrievals - your voicemail box will be deleted. If you really need to keep it, just call 202 every now and again to keep it alive.
Edit: in regards to why it isn't on the web site; it is. It's in the terms and conditions under 'Voicemail'.
Thank you.
Now I'm not meaning to be completely obtuse, but have I got this right: after 60 days of inactivity my voicemail box is deleted. From that, plus my experience of earlier today, I gather that
- my voicemail greeting and any messages left in the box are deleted (and the T&C say the messages would have been deleted after 30 days);
- the server reverts to answering incoming calls with a generic greeting;
- callers are able to leave messages in this no-man's-land;
- when I again set up a voicemail PIN and greeting, those messages are retrievable.
Seems a bit strange, but manageable.
Does Prepay allow the voicemail phone number to be changed (e.g. to a 2talk 028 number)? If so, do the minutes so used come off one's accumulated "free" minutes or does the cost come off the cash balance of the account?
