The 2D network has really improved over the last 12 to 18 months

I was on VodafoneNZ for 20 years and recently changed over and no issues

SaltyNZ: Switching providers is pretty easy these days. :-)

True but no point if your phone is not WiFi calling capable.

I assume @am289 does have one, or they wouldn't be inquiring. In any case although it's only S8 today, it will be iPhone soon, and others to come (although that's not my area so I don't know exactly what). Either way that's true of any provider, not just us.

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!

These comments are my own and do not represent the opinions of 2degrees.

So if the S8 works, what does it take to get the iPhone working then? I’m already on the latest Beta from Apple so it’s not them...?

It's not the OS but rather the 2degrees "bundle" that sits on top. Apple needs to approve and release it.

iOS 11.2 is out this morning, might want to give that a go to see if it works now.

It's a carrier bundle which is very different to a iOS update

So if you didn't buy your phone from 2D you're not going to get the update??

The iPhone will detect a 2D SIM and change the carrier bundle

Just bought new IPhone 6 from HN. Will this phone be capable?

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Thanks. I should have mentioned that when iPhone is made capable by 2D, will iPhone 6 be one of the versions?

I believe any iPhone with iOS 11 will be supported, so 5s and newer.
