SNAP Launches One Terabyte Ultra-Fast Broadband Plans And Unmetered Nights!

New Zealand’s top-rated Internet provider Snap today announced plans that let customers truly use their broadband as intended.

Increased base data allowances and add-on packs up to 1 terabyte mean there will be plenty of room to use Snap’s new ultra-fast connections without having to keep one eye on the usage meter.
Better yet, if you purchase an additional data pack then data usage nights between 1am and 7am is unmetered, and doesn’t count towards the monthly allowance.

Snap chief executive Mark Petrie says: “The point of having a fast connection is so you can use the speed. Otherwise, why have a fast broadband connection?”

Petrie adds that the new plans won’t be rate-shaped or artificially managed in any way to slow them down. “That’s not the Snap way,” Petrie says. “We sell fast broadband and that’s what our customers get,” he says.

For VDSL & UFB services Snap has another exciting offer: connect before Dec 31st on a 24 month plan and get the first two months base plan rental free.

Customers in the UFB fibre catchment area can look forward to free installations, thanks to Chorus recent announcement that it will cover up to 200 metres distance without additional cost. In Enable areas, residential installations are free irrespective of distance.

The new plans are available for ADSL2+, VDSL2 and UFB residential customers. They include increased data as part of the standard service (from 25GB to 100GB) and come with Add-On Data Packs, including 100GB, 250GB, 500GB and a whopping 1TB in size so people can tailor their connection costs to their usage.
