Hi all,

Over the last few days out internet has been dropping out fairly often. The only thing I can relate this to is that we got upgraded to the "better network" (LLU i'm guessing) about 10 days ago. Sync speeds are being really random:

DSL Status: Connected
DSL Modulation Mode: ADSL2+
DSL Path Mode: Interleaved
Downstream Rate: 6232 kbps
Upstream Rate: 679 kbps
Downstream Margin: 2147483644 db
Upstream Margin: 7 db
Downstream Line Attenuation: 29 db
Upstream Line Attenuation: 31.5 db
Downstream Transmit Power: 12 db
Upstream Transmit Power: 21 db

As you can see the downstream margin is really messed up and I believe that 2147483644 is the arbitrary number that is the maximum value an integer can hold?
Also the downstream rate is less than half of normal and upload is down by about ~300kbps too. I can reset it and sometimes it syncs at the full rate (17/1) but then it just leads to a drop out and when I reset I get something like the above. Anyway would anyone at Slingshot have an idea of what's going on here? Possibly dodgy modem?

I had a customer on Chorus gear at exchange, Telecom customer. They moved to Vodafone Red network, then there connection had major issues. Dropped to 2Mbps, lots of disconnects etc. their connection wasn't great to start with, but was relatively stable.

Installed a master filter, went from 2Mbps to 17Mbps and rock solid.

Never discount your internal wiring being at fault.
