You've got a line issue.

The fix is simple. Send a DM to CoffeeBaron and give him $150, he'll come out and fix your internal wiring by professionally installing a master filter.

1) No ISP will claim full responsibility of your internal wiring and will often provide band-aid solutions since it is in Chorus's best interest to save money (being a company and all)
2) Speaking of Chorus, you're connected to their gear, not your ISP's
3) Changing ISP will do nothing in your favour. Just spend the $150 and thank me later.

Hi jim4nz,

This is actually the fastest speed that you will be expected to be delivered at your current location from the exchange, this has been confirmed by both Chorus visits to your house.

The last Chorus technician summed it up quite well
"Field Action Complete Low Connect rates, No Fault Found speed within historical rates for this location ,customer is comparing speed with neighboring streets which are cabinetised."

Looking at your location you are right at the edge of all cabinet boundary's, which does mean that some Neighbours around you connected to the cabinet will get higher speeds, however the copper feeder in your location does not go near those cabinets. Chorus comments indicate, and you would assume, that the speed at this location has always been at around this rate.

We do understand that in some locations like this you do fall into an unfortunate position with DSL speed. The good news is that the fix for this is UFB, and this is scheduled to be available to you within a year.

Thanks,
TheRalph
