Since I can't get through on the snap help number (great time for this to happen, just as there's a major outage) I figured I'd post here...

When the outage started last night I jumped on my fritzbox and had a look for what was going on.  I still had sync, but where as my connection is usually rock solid and has been for 2 years, with attenuation of 12db and syncs at roughly 37/10 it was showing attenuation of 29db and a sync rate of 11/6. This morning I've rebooted and am still showing attenuation of 29db and now syncing at 6/6.

I figure there's very little likelyhood this is related to the current outage and issues snap is having, but is there any remote chance it might be?

My current setup is the incoming pair is scotch-loked directly to a patch cable that plugs straight into the fritzbox, so I doubt internal wiring is the issue; it's been running flawlessly for 2 years. Is there any chance the issue is with the modem?

Will no way be related to anything Snap. They have no control over the path from Chorus DSLAM to your modem.
