I am expecting the worst but hoping for the best.

Long story short I renewed my contract with 2 Degrees after 18 or so months of very happy service.

I was rushed through signing into a 24 month contract and all seemed well. I was even blinded further but a $280 voucher!

Now I am starting to regret my haste to sign that contract on the spot. I'm leaving NZ soon and my research tells my I'm going to have to pay an early termination fee of roughly $320 (21 x 39 x .4). Is there any way to lessen the blow to my wallet? I need every cent as I'm only casually employed at the moment and am leaving NZ.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Would I be able to use my voucher to cut it down a bit? Do I even have a leg to stand on or do I just have to face the music?

At the end of the day I did sign - regrettably.

Would just like to get as much information before heading into the store and talking to them.

Thanks!

Hi ScarFace

Have you redeemed the voucher yet instore?

If you still have it and not redeemed it against a new phone or device we may be able to reclaim it and move you onto a 'no term' plan so you won't have to pay ETC's.

If you used it against buying a phone it may be harder to facilitate the move. That being said please PM me your number, acct # plus DOB and address for authentication and if you did buy a phone the make, model and IMEI # and we'll see what we can do.

Cheers
^POB
