Sounddude: We have had a double fibre cut in our network. One in the North Island taking out our 10Gig circuit and one in the South Island taking out another 10Gig circuit.

Everything is on backup links, which is why its a bit slow.

We are working to restoring the down iserve services, but no ETR yet.

Thanks.  Your site is now saying, "which have a repair start time from our vendor of 3pm" are we going to be completely out until then and do you have any idea of how long it will take after then please?  No mail whatsoever, no FTP access.  Answer appreciated, we need to set our clients' expectations.  And what caused the double fibre cut please?

iServe Console access has been restored I am told, the website should update shortly.

FYI. The repair will start approx 3pm, complete approx 4pm then the nodes have to be patched so it should restore connectivity remaining sometime in the 4-6pm period. There were two separate fibre cuts, one farmer, one land slip.

Issues with iServe mail should now be restored. The backhaul fibre cut has also just restored so FTP should restore with that.
