Hi,

After recently moving house and getting my connection moved  as well we are now seeing rather slow sync speeds.

I have read the fascinating article about master filters and it is definitely something that I will be looking into implementing but right now I have concerns about our upstream speed syncing at around 150Kbps

I have spent hours on calls to support where we have reset line/ports countless times and they have run all sorts of test but no joy yet.

Last week I got a ticket escalated and received a callback from a tier 2 rep (I think) who was very helpful and ended up sending a new modem out with the promise to follow up after i had received it.

And at various point in time our DSL connection will drop completely and refuse to connect - that's when I get on the phone again and we reset ports etc. all over again.

I'm not sure if it was related, but up until Yesterday our voip phone was not working either (For both incoming and outgoing through modem, and incoming only using Genius Go) but that has since been resolved.

So Overall, I guess the question is, if my Downstream is an acceptable level, should my upstream be higher?
