So, since I got VDSL from slingshot, I've been fiddling around with my wireless router to get the best signal and recently realised that my downstream speed has gone down from 45Mbps to around 30Mbps. I reckon that might be because of the countless rebooting of the modem in the process, interfering with DLM. Is there any way to reverse that? Should I wait? How long will that take?

To Fix:

1) Call slingshot.
2) Ask for a port reset at the DSLAM.
- If the CSR doesnt know what to do or will not, ask for someone else.
- Be adamant.

3) Wait.
- You should see DLM start all over again and likely you will start off on a better latency as well as speed profile.

In future be careful.   :)
