Lodged a support ticket with Orcon that Forwarded mail (even to myself as a test) wasn't arriving ...  although sending new emails is OK.

They replied

>From your email I understand you are requesting assistance on your email bounce back.

I have checked our database and still there are some spam, malware, spyware etc. in your email.  That is the main reason why your email keeps bouncing back due to bad reputation of your email and IP address. 
 
Please erase them and if possible run an anti-spam, malware and spyware to be cleaned. 

What does this actually mean ?  What's the hell is this "bad Reputation" all about ??  That's a bit insulting isn't it ? How could my IP earn that ?

Nothing bounces back, they just fail to arrive.

I have AVG and a paid-for "Super Anti-Spyware" installed  and run regular scans etc. which reports all is OK or supposedly removes any dodgy stuff.

There's no spam, malware, spyware in my inbox, and even if there was how would that effect forwarding a email ?
In webmail there's 65 old messages in the Sent folder, is this what he's referring to ? 

I certainly wouldn't rate this as very professional or polite (or even helpful)  response to a fairly important fault.
It was only because I was forwarding something to my wife to read on her PC that I found out it wasn't working.

Flamebeard, I tried http://mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx and got

Checking ... against 88 known blacklists...
Listed 0 times with 1 timeouts

I'm sure that guy at Orcon must have been on something.... since then Dan has found the missing emails (they had gone into Orcons 'Mail Guard") and all seems good again.
LOL I shall consider my reputation is intact !
