The other day I went out to play some Pokemon go with my daughter, she has a old phone of mine that isn't on a network, its just for the wifi at home.

Long story short, We only went out to play for an hour, the tethering worked, but only after I had activated my free hour.

So does it only work when you are on an unlimited plan? Or could it also be that I have yet to swap to the new prepay plan, im still on the $29, 2.5gb Plan.

Cheers, Hope Everyone is having a good day :)

There are no restrictions on hotspotting on 2degrees, neither with Data Clock nor the unlimited plans.
