This is more directed at Orcon's techs but feel free to chip in.
We're currently looking at switching to Orcon from BigPipe to get a better connection speed on ADSL using the LLU equipment, our line benefits greatly from having a different ADSL profile to what Chorus offers. We know this from a previous Vodafone connection (see thread) but can't stand Vodafone's support.
Two questions we need to answer please:
- Do you automatically get put onto the Orcon's LLU network or does this need to be requested (we are on the Courtney Place Exchange in Wellington)?
- Does Orcon offer different ADSL line profiles (alternative SNR)?
