Can anyone please let me know of any satellite receivers capable of handling 16APSK modulation.

I would like to be able to receive the Nine and Seven channel suites which use 16APSK and which look like they might stick around as they are now listed on Lyngsat.

There are 2 issues not just the compatible receiver, but also the dish size it really needs a 1.8M or bigger minimum

I bought an X-cruiser sat decoder off TM. It seems to be quite a good box. Have a 2.4m on Optus D1 and have good signal on the 16apsk CH 9 carriers on there.

The channels freeze and break up quite a bit, but it's mainly watchable. There are regions of the CH9 channels there. Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. Melbourne seems the most stable. There is no sign of CH7. The box cost around $250.

I bought another cheap box ($30ish) off Ali express that said it could do 16apsk.... it can't. Be careful of those cheapies!

Have heard of good 1.8m dishes getting it.

There is a back feed of Channel nine on D1, on vertical, and no adds,

so if you tune it and its blank wait a few minutes. receivable on a 60cm dish

hi i live in alotau in png i currently an recieving abc, sbs, ch9 off optus d1 very clear service.

i want to be able to recieve the ch7 and 9 entainment chs which are on vertical 16apsk modulation.

any one know what reciever i need and where to purchase it from.
