I'm assuming you are on DTT ?

MIght just be the way the audio is being reported. They are using full HE-AAC with SBR which some tools report as 24KHz

While on the same subject, as of news hour has anyone noted TV1 audio on 12483 is stuffed, or is it my STB.

Personally the HE-AAC on DTT is excellent. What decoder are you using?

Just to comment again on the bad TV1 audio on the DTH service, it seems that there was an issue that effected only some decoders, was corrected around 10pm last evening.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Using Cyberlink decoder for audio, all other channels are around 128kbps
