Just spoke to a chap at LN and asked for a wick-ard price on the DishTV-S7090 and got a Wick-ard price of $438. so if could be a S7090 instead of the Duo, even though I like the "open source" factor of the Duo.
It will be interesting to see what price the new shipment brings.
Oh, has any one been able to stream TV live on the Duo via ethernet (big selling factor).
Across a LAN, it's trivial to watch content streamed from the Vu+, be it recorded or live. You can control just about everything about the Vu+ from the network except reach behind and flick the power switch, which you never really need to do anyway.
You can do exactly the same from anywhere on the internet too, as long as you have a static IP address (or a use a dynamic IP mapping service) and configure your firewall to accept incoming traffic and forward a port to the Vu+. The uplink speed on your internet connection is likely to be the limiting factor, especially with NZ's broad(ahem)band speeds.

Can stream to your ipad or ipod from the vu or dreambox
Well after many months of looking and reading, I took the plunge an bought a Ultraplus 9200HD. It talks nicely with the network (just need to sort out buying a NAS now) and is a breeze to patch/apply firmware.
My question is: where can I find some information on the current plugins installed on the system like 'coconut', 'Xcamclient', XcamConfigure', Mgcad etc.. I would like to know what they are and how to use/configure them. (Xcam is mostly a USB camera service).
Also, has any one used a USB keyboard/Mouse on the Ultraplus receivers (haven't tried on yet).
