Sounds very version 1ish and full of bugs.

Is there no way to view a list of programs that are scheduled to be recorded?
Or do you have to wait until the first recording to see it in the library?

The device is clunky and hard to drive. As a tech i am struggling with it. God knows how i will get the better half to use it after having mysky which is so easy.

Updated today with no problem (wired), but after it I too get "TV3 Now app also fails with 'server did not provide any video renditions that this player could play'."

As clearly stated in the manual and built in iManual, you can press the LIST (Schedule) key on your remote to view your booked recordings.

Now that my LG TV has updated and got freeview plus I get the same error on TV3 the 2 times I have tried it. It also is really slow to navigate so I blame the technology or 3, not the box.

clog: Just purchased the T2200.
Where is the latest firmware. Changelog indicates 11c, and website only has 1.18.
Unit will not update firmware from network.
Keeps looping at startup until network disconnected.

Unit also intermittently fails to load media library. Always fails when usb is connected.

TV3 Now app also fails with 'server did not provide any video renditions that this player could play'.

Is there anyway to stop the annoying freeviewplus banner appearing every channel change?

Thank you

Hi

We are currently investigating a few issues and hope to get them released soon. Have you waited till the middleware has loaded before opening the library ? Or does this happen most times when you try and open it?

I'll follow up on the network with 3Now, please try disconnecting Internet and replugging or reconnect to your modem and try again, let me know if the issue persists.

Contact Freeview regarding the Freeview Banner, they manage the development and feedback on the FreeviewPlus side of things and would always like feedback, just flick them an email with the title FreeviewPlus Feedback/Suggestion

Having the t2200 not set for its ultra hibernation mode may fix some of those powering up issues.. give that a try in the short term .

I have tested this on my LG Smart TV, the screen returns back to the main screen after the first ads, the message about the renditions appear, This indicates that there is an issue on Mediaworks side, I have sent an alert to Freeview to alert this. This is not an issue on our side

As this is not an issue on our side (DISH TV) I have sent an alert to the Mediaworks Devalopers and Freeview to have a look.

HadEnough: Either I have a defective box or this model's OS and / or firmware is well below standard.

Intermittent faults that are frustrating me:

1) Failure to wake from standby and record programs.  Recent examples Arrow TV2 Thursday 5 November.  Doctor Who Prime Sunday 8 November  Both are series linked from the guide.

What type of power mode do you have on? Low Power Mode (Red Light when in standby) or the unit lights STBY with power and signal lock lights red? Also try relinking (Delete booked shows and relink on the EPG)

2) Loss of sound during playback of recorded programs.  Hit stop and the box locks up,  Only solution for this is to cycle power at the wall.

This has been reported on multiple devices from customers and has been logged with the team, please bear with us and I will get more info when acquired.

3) When woken from standby with a USB stick attached, the USB media sometimes mounts faster than the library, resulting in a "Media not ready" message when LIB key is pressed.  Solution here is cycle standby until library mounts faster than the USB stick

I'll get this reported too however, please try a factory reset and see if any of the issues are replicated again, it would be great to get TX information, if you can PM me your transmitter and setup details, I can get this sent through in case we need additional information.

the library issue appears to be related to the device assigning A drive to the USB drive so then ignores the internal disk.

Is there any quick way to get to media sharing DLNA without using the long winded menu option?

Where can i get the latest firmware as my unit will not update over network or air.

We are still trialling the DLNA, testing continues as it's not stable yet, Another way to get streaming is to cast the content to the device via a PC, or source device via an App.

Please PM me and I will get you a direct link to download the latest version

is there any limitation to the device/disk size the USB interface supports?
