I noticed in a rescan the other day that a few transponders were giving "No Channels" rather than the usual "Nothing Found" in MediaPortal.

They used to be SBS and ABC transponders but I thought I'd try changing the parameters to the standard NZ ones using a symbol rate of 22500. Suddenly loads of channel updates.

From what I'm seeing the following transponders are now broadcasting Sky channels

12550 - Yesshop, CTV4, CTV3, CTV2, Sport 4, Food, Disney Junior, Living, History, Sport 1, a bunch of radio
12577 - Nat Geo, CCTV News, CTV5, JTV, Vibe, Kidzone, BBC World, Sport 2, Rugby Channel, UKTV, a bunch of radio
12613 - Jones, Sport 5, CTV5, KTV 1, SM Greats, Sport 3, Heartland, Travel, E!, Discovery, The Box, a bunch of radio

and the channels that are on 12483 on freeview also seem to be on 12487 so TV1, 2 all the plus channels and Maori.

All of the channels I tried seemed to work on the new transponders which is interesting.

Not sure how stable these are at the moment so not sure whether I'll use them. I lost TV3 HD last night after a scan as I think it was picked up on one of those transponders but I couldn't play it so will be interesting to monitor.

Anyone know anything?

The difference between these two is within the tolerance for the automatic frequency control in the tuner to lock on to a very close signal - it's just a double entry at your end for the same transponder (12483H)
