Is it possible to use satellite freeview box with a uhf aerial. Sick of rainfade with satellite dish. I also have UHF aerial that was here when I arrived. Or will I need to buy UHF freeview box. My friend keeps telling me there is a box device that allows you to use satellite box with uhf aerial but shes not sure what its called.

Check your signal strength. If it's way below normal you may need to replace your LNB which would probably cure your rainfade. It's also possible your Dish alignment and/or LNB skew may need tweaking for max signal.

P.S. What TV do you have? If it's less than 10yrs old it should have a digital tuner so just plug the UHF antenna directly  into the TV. No STB required.
