Hi All,

Been a while! Hoping someone can help me out with this - looks like the Intel DN2800MT Atom Motherboard is no longer available here in NZ? Does anyone know:

1. What an equivalent replacement would be (needs to have external PSU and the same PCIe slot in same position), or

2. If there is somewhere you can still source these in NZ.

I run this in a fan-less slim Silverstone case (so must be external PSU) for my Hi-Fi Music Server (Vortexbox Linux O/S) and my current board is faulty (needs to be returned for warranty claim) - so I am keen to get a back-up so I can swap out and keep the server running, etc...

Appreciate any help/insight...

TIA.

Well as fate would have it 20 minutes after posting the above I stumbled across a store that still had some in stock (in Tauranga)... However still very keen to hear if anyone knows of an equivalent board - this one is listed as Intel's top Atom board still - so not sure why it's no longer available?

Well the place in Tauranga was a no go - website hadn't had stock on hand updated for months - so I am back to square one!

Anyone know what the current equivalent or replacement board for the Intel DN2800MT Atom with external PSU is?

Appreciate any insight...

Hi.

Just stumbled across this post as I am looking at motherboards with an onboard Atom for a NAS4free machine.  I'm surprised someone else didn't jump in before now!

The BOXD2550MUD2 looks to be the current equivalence.  Any corner IT store should be able to get it in for you from local distributor Ingram Micro.  $150 incl GST and freight from us if you are stuck as a one-off.  As a business focussed IT company we don't normally deal with the general public.

Cheers
Mike
