I'd like to reduce my DNS TTL so some upcoming DNS changes can propagate quickly. I have no idea how to do this though.

I'm with 1st domains for my .co.nz domains. Can anyone tell me how to make this change?

Ah, now we're getting somewhere. The name servers are with my web host, HostGator. I can go into their advanced zone editor and edit my DNS properties, thanks!

My A, CNAME, and TXT records all have a TTL of 600. As this seems to be in seconds this is already set to ten minutes, which honestly is way too low for general use. It's good for what I want to do, but no good for day to day stuff and may explain some things.

As an aside, I'm moving to Cloudflare. Once I sign up the main thing I need to do is go to 1st domains and change my name servers to Cloudflare's, right?
