Hi,

I have a Windows Server 2012 server running on my network with two NIC's. The first is connected to a switch which goes out to the internet. The second is connected to a network tap which I have installed on part of my network.

On my server I have Hyper-V whcih has a virtual machine with an IDS OS running on it.

When I use monitor the tap NIC using Wireshark on the Windows Server I can see all of the tapped traffic however when I go into my IDS and add both NIC's I cannot see this traffic. It seems that the tapped traffic is not going through to the virtual machine for it to be monitored.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks!
