Hi all,

I would like to add multiple users to a windows device using AAD.

The first user is easy enough and they are an administrator.

Subsequent users I can not figure out for the life of me.

If you go to add a new user via friends and family it is a local account or a Microsoft account ( FYI you can no longer create a Microsoft account using an O365 email address )

I know this can be done but I am blowed if I can figure it out.

I know this is not what AAD is meant for but this will help a customer out bigtime if we can get it to work.

Thanks

John

It is my understanding that AAD & local AD work the same in that respect. You specify the domain credentials and during the logon process a DC is found. The DC grants access. No need to Settings -> Accounts to tell Win10 to add an account. Maybe you could try 'Access work or school'?

Here are some additional questions for you

* Are you on the network where the AAD DC is pingable?

* Are you specifying a username like YOURDOMAIN\username or username@yourdomain.co.nz?
