I'm looking for a knowledgeable person who might be able to build a custom purpose extension for Chrome, Firefox or any browser at all really.
I save a lot of images from various websites (legally) but some of them require part of the URL to be removed to gain the full resolution. This becomes a long process when saving dozens of images..
Ideally I would love to have a button, that could remove a set part of the URL (which could be customized depending on the URL), and save the image to a designated folder automatically.
Example (not a real URL):
http://www.imagexample.com/files/images/styles/2017/public/yourimage.jpg
The full resolution image URL:
http://www.imagexample.com/files/images/yourimage.jpg
So I need to remove /styles/2017/public from the URL and automatically save the JPG. I would have dozens of tabs open, so I would love to be able to just click a button to do this action then close the tabs as the images are saved.
If anyone is up to the challenge, please get in touch for further details on the real URLs that have the images I want to save, and for a financial contribution of some sort
