Hi there

Previously I have asked the question on the forum in regarding the sync and email and notification, sometimes it take 15 minutes or random times to get it delivered to our phone. I have been searching and people saying that it is only set at this time frame and it is out of our control. Lol

So in our Android phones there is a thing called app optimisation, I am using the Samsung s20+5G..., when I open that place, I discovered my Samsung email is currently switch is as off. Then my Gmail, it shows on. So I have move the Gmail App to off, it some how come thru straight away.

Then I have some interesting thing, I used Samsung calendar app to sync my Google appointments. Again lately turn off the optimisation, then my first appointment on the calendar show up straight away.

However when I go on and add the 2nd appointment, it doesn't show up straight away. Then around 10 and 15 minutes, it will show up the work that I have added on the Google calendar from my computer....

The interesting thing is when I am on apple, everything is sync on Gmail and calendar almost instantly, but Google it just can't do the same. You will think that it should go as smoothly

I am interested to know what else that I might need to turn off in order to get it sync straight away...

Love to know from anyone

Jacky

Hello @zocster, I am using the free Gmail.

I think it depends on how you added the email. Did you add the account under settings? Manage accounts?
