I have been out of NZ for a month and while I was away I lost my SGS2 and need to replace it.

While I was away I was also out of contact with GZ and have lost track of recent discussions on where to buy and best current prices. I would be grateful for comments/suggestions. The phone I lost came from Clove UK (because it had not become available in NZ at the time) and I guess I could get a new one from there via courier fairly quickly but there may be better local options now. Thanks.

I got mine from Noel Leemings, but I have heard this is now available just about anywhere... a lot of the online stores have some free gift options too - leather cover, microsd card, screen protector etc. Yup I think its a fantastic phone... all the best on wherever you get it from...

Thanks. Expert Infotech on Auckland's North Shore say they have them in stock at $824 incl GST. This sounds very cheap - anything I should be wary of here?

I bought mine from unlocked-mobiles.com based in UK, took about 3 weeks to arrive, although I chose the royal mail option rather than via courier, which meant I was not stung for GST when it arrived.

It worked out to be about NZ$800 incl shipping at the time plus credit card fee of foreign currency conversion etc, so all up around the same price as Expert Info tech in North Shore.

I guess it also depends if you want one in a hurry or happy to wait.

Plus luck. And Royal Mail seems luckier than courier.

I got mine via royal mail, it was slow but no GST charged by custom even though they opened my package up for inspection.
