I have an HTC desire rinning 2.2.  I have Skype 2.0.0.47 installed.

Skype calls are cr@p to put it mildly.  Voice quality is dalek like with dropouts and delays

I've only used WiFi from various APs havent tried via the network.  Calls via SIPDroid and 2Talk are fine over the same WiFi connections as are Skype calls from my notebook in exactly the same location.

Is anyone else experiencing the same disappointing results - or am I just special?

Thanks in advance

I have Skype installed on a Nokia E63 and find the call quality is extremely poor. Only used it twice via WiFi (home network) and tested about 3 times over VF network and both methods prove to be low quality.
Gave up using it.
