If thats true then the only thing that could make me happier is if you tell me mine was cheaper... 399.99 pounds?

Did they say when they'd dispatch it / estimated delivery by courier?

People ordering now might end up paying less than some of us.

Voucher code "HTCFLY5500" gets you 5 GBP off any order totalling more than 50GBP (excluding shipping) - Clove UK.

I just used it to order a case, HTC travel charger & screen protectors. With the phone being so new there are limited choices for these. I didn't order at the time, thinking that there would be some good cases around by the time I got my phone.  Expansys has more available than Clove but total cost is higher & delivery takes about the same length of time.

I'm thinking I will get cases etc at the parallel import shops in NZ - want to try them on my phone first, see if I can bear them.

argh I so want this phone.

I'm just very hesitant about buying something this expensive that I can't see with my own eyes.

Obviously it seems Clove has a good reputation though.

I've got my last two phones from Clove, had no worries. The second time around my handset had a warranty issue, sent it straight back and got the new one pronto.

This was my first order through Clove and I am really impressed with their service. I asked a couple of pre-sales questions before ordering (both because I needed answers & because I wanted to gauge what they were like to deal with). The whole process was very smooth, emails were answered promptly, and - best of all - MY DHD HAS ARRIVED!! W00t!

I don't know why anyone would bother with courier. The AirSure service through Royal Mail was considerably cheaper & my phone took 4 days to reach me. It was delivered this morning (maybe if we hadn't had a holiday yesterday it may have been here then).

Great! If you don't mind, can you post the date you preordered and if you had to pay GST? My DHD should be coming from clove soon (sept 25th preorder), this is getting me very excited!

My desire hd just arrived at my house as well :D . Even though the email they sent me said it was tracked using dhl and not royal mail, it seems it was indeed shipped using royal mail. No g.s.t. for mee.

Can't wait to get home
