All in all, the Find X2 Pro is technically a better deal in terms of bundles, but here are the general downsides to getting it vs. the 8 Pro:

- No alert slider (which I personally am a big fan of)
- No wireless charging/reverse wireless charging
- ColorOS doesn't update as much and as timely as OxygenOS - OnePlus also has longer support with the 5 and 5T from 2017 getting Android 10
- Depending on your taste as well, OxygenOS gives more of a stock Android experience versus a more customised skin with ColorOS

Other than that though, the screens are very much identical and you do get the great bundle, periscope zoom, 65W charging, and most importantly, native 5G support with the Find X2 Pro. So it's just a matter of picking your poison.

Ordered my OP8pro on Thursday, picked it up from the post office near by in Hamilton this morning 😁 So glad I got it for the weekend.

OnePlus have now said that it was a mistake and should not have been released. https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/update-on-color-filter-camera.1228622/page-15#post-21659551

If you did update apparently it only hit a small number of devices so you got really unlucky, it will be updated in a future OTA but if you did not update then your fine as the OTA has been pulled.

Lucky! Ordered mine on Thursday night and still in East Tamaki at the depot since yesterday :(

At the same time I'm in the south island so it's understandable lol

How inconsistent. I had my taken from the manakau Depot to the east tamaki Depot over 1 working day and now it's currently in my hands. Deleivered around midday.

It is really inconsistent. A friend shared his p40 tracking number and his one did not went to the depot. Just went from pickup to delivery to delivered. He got his p40 delivered on 23 may after pickup on 19th four hours later than mine.

The wait has really irritated me so much that i went to preorder Oppo Find X2 pro and ow calling p40 pro order. Oppo find x2 is a pickup from PBTech store.

My OP8 is moving rather fast, was in East Tamaki for a day and now in Chch today, so will hopefully get it next week!

The courier companies during this period have been a shocking failure of inconsistency. 2 weeks from Auckland for NZpost, 3 days from Hong Kong for DHL.

Damn, that sucks. It was up for quite a while though as it said it when I first turned the phone on, and then I left it for a couple of hours while it downloaded/installed all my apps.

I wonder if there is a way to roll back...?

They mentioned another update will be released to enable it in a few weeks. I guess better to read changelog before updating

You lucky bugger. I'm furious...ordered mine the morning it became available. Now it's been sitting at NZ post in East Tamaki in processing. Wish I could just go and pick it up myself. Ridiculous that the post is still taking this long!
