Looking to grab M8 over this weekend as well, but out of curiosity is there any differences between vodafone/telecom and 2degree m8 handsets?

Obviously its going to be something software related, but is there something I need to do if I pick up a telecom/2degrees one? (with Vodafone atm).

I got my Dot View case, it's nice but like people have pointed out it doesn't flip all the way around and sticks out on one side.

Still nice case and seems like good protection but for the price Danny it has to be

Would there be a way to manually input the settings?

No, you'd need to flash.

HD voice is enabled on the HTC M8 Telecom - I use one with a Vodafone SIM and get HD. This is not the case with the Samsung S5 Telecom which has HD voice disabled.

Some great deals over the weekend!

Those with M8, do you notice any jerks with scrolling up and down in Facebook app? It seems more noticeable than Nexus 5. Google+ is reasonably smooth.
Facebook is only noticeable when you are actually reading and skimping quickly up and down. I don't know what to call it slight lag or jerk.

Chrome / Real Racing 3 / UI / menus are all very smooth.

No, I am not in energy saving mode.

Cheers!

Yeah I get that but I think it's because every time you scroll down the app needs to generate more content further down the feed, thus the slight lag.

Just a quick question.
I bought my M8 today.
I think it was sold to me at as a Vodafone one (Noel Leeming).
I am with 2D.
After some initial setup and a software update (that came up instantly after turning it on) it's all OK with one detail - I do not see LTE in the list of network types.
Anyone else?

Thanks,
Damian

2degrees has no LTE network.  So it's natural you won't see one.
