Finally got my Black version today from PBTech. Will be doing a transfer from Note9 tonight.

I am worried about the 128GB limit on space, any idea when the NM SD cards are going to be sold here?

nzskater: When do you actually see the green screen problem? Do you have to create a synthetic scenario to make it happen? If so, does it really matter?

Dark rooms when screen brightness drops down is when it's most noticeable.

I see it on my wallpaper, Spotify, YouTube to name a few real world examples

Still no green screen for me.

And LG panel? Given its shown up on BOE I think we can rest assured its the same problem that has happened on other curved screen phones.

How long is the warranty from Huawei if locally purchased, ie not a parralel import?

Yeah it's an LG panel.

I cannot see anything, even in the dark with low brightness. All i can do is a slight colour shift on the curve if I make the light hit it at a certain angle.

How did you get the Black model from PBTech? They have told me that Huawei still haven't delivered them any stock.
They still don't know when they will be receiving them. They were promised today but they didn't turn up.
Late and with a high chance of a dud screen!

I went on Friday and they promised me for Monday and I got a text today first thing in the morning. Someone commented here that Queen Street PBTech has heaps of Black on sale?

My store was Auckland Uni branch, depending on the branch you ordered you should be able to get an ETA if you talk to them.

They had stock in their Queen Street branch on Saturday according to one of the staff. They had a pile sitting their waiting for customers that had pre ordered as well. All were black according to the employee.

yeah its the screen tech, not lg. is this Huaweis first doubled edged screen? curious.

galaxy 6 had it, apple had it, gosh the names go on, they all had it and most resolved it.

its a bit of a dimmer on what really is a game changing phone imo, especially for prosumer photographers or even hobbyists, but even some of the other tech is ALL there. its a shame.

but i think in 6 months everyone will be compensated and the phone will be recognised for the reviews its gotten and the amount of tech packed in its body.

however, as someone who hates edge screens, especially double sided, i just want a quick, told ya so to all the manufacturers hehe. galaxy being both sides glass is the worst for me.

if only they could produce a non edge version. look at the nokia 7.1 plus, the smartest looking phone on the market, both sides flat. perhaps the 6.1 for the black ally with copper tones. either way, edges do nothing for me, i dont get what the problem with a thin bezel is.

Started setting up the phone and quickly filled up the storage. I used to have a note 9 512gb along with 128gb storage. This storage limit is a downside for me so far. Backing up all my videos and pics.

Well, my mate 20 had to be shipped off to be replaced sadly..

Huawei nz at this stage have said that they will be dealing with screens on a case by case basis.

Has anyone that placed online order for black colour from PBTech received any info about when they will ship the phone? I tried to get in touch with them and they told me that have no idea when they will get stock so cant say anything about delivery at this stage. Apparently Huawei NZ are not giving them enough details and shipping units at this stage.

That's a bit rough considering they have plenty of Black on shelves now for sale.

Have you tried telling them that you will consume one from existing stock and get the free goodies that comes with Pre-order when they arrive?
