Excuse my ignorance if i'm reading a little too much into it,

But you said "I've", so are you saying that you ported/help port it to run under WM.

Just curious, having some guys with some solid knowledge of Android would be a real plus for this community.

Getting android to run is not tricky once the drivers for things like the touchscreen, frame buffer and radio are working.

managed to get android working on my titan.

things i noticed:

first boot attempt, it said not enough memory, so soft resetted before booting again.

kinda cool watching it boot into linux with the little penguin thing.

limited keyboard function, all i used was Q = menu and caps/lock to close program.

desktop/home screen interface required some decent finger scroll or stylus movement to move back and forth across the 3 screens.

when you open the applications tab, if you scroll down, it's easy to accidentally open a program shortcut.

calls work, calling out, it would take several rings before the other phone would start ringing. could receive calls fine, woo hoo.

sms - can receive, but couldnt type up a text to reply, i couldnt click into the reply box.

soft resest required to get back to windows mobile

lots of potential, would be great to dual boot into both windows mobile and android.

dzo, nice handy work with the development of the android to the okta touch. im guessing in order for android to work properly on the titan, there are specific porting requirements? was nice to be able to make and receive calls and receive texts. the notifications worked properly for a received text too.

will keep an eye on further developments

Hi,

Luckily titan and vogue are very similar, there are people working on a titan port and you should be able to find a working keyboard and better touch screen driver for it. Look through the logs for htc-linux on irc.
