Finally updating from my Oneplus 3t, looking at purchasing from Supero as my budget is $1k. My options are either the 8 or the 7t pro. What would be your go to? I prefer the camera layout of the 7t.

Here's a breakdown, hope it helps to choose :)

Pros of OP8:
1 Guaranteed Android upgrade that the 7T pro won't get
Bigger battery
5G (if you need it)
Taller aspect ratio (easier to hold)
The curved edges are not as pronounced as on the 7T pro ( less accidental touches)
Slightly better performance. (latest chipset)

According to the PB Tech site the OnePlus 8 does not support 5G i n NZ.

Regards,

Kopkiwi: I am getting some serious connection issues with this phone. Won't get any notifications for hours then they'll all come piling through at once.

remove battery optimisation for those apps. most of them are on intelligent mode. put them on dont optimise. like gmail, viber, whatsapp, etc

There are also 2 other settings that need to be turned off. in battery optimization click on the 3 dots in the top right then click advanced optimization and turn off those 2 settings as well.

Wifi drops out regularly. Insanely slow speeds, doesn't reconnect.

Take a look at Mobile Fun:

I have bought from these guys before with good service, generally using Royal mail (they get shipped from UK).

you would think if the issue was widespread there would be more complaints in here about it?
