Hard to gauge from the photo, but the colour on the S4 does look a lot more natural. Both are on default screen modes. Plus the S4 has this cool new Adapt Display screen mode which adjusts hue/saturation depending on what you're doing.

90% of what I do on my Note is watching TV shows/anime on it, so checking out the video quality was the first thing I did with the S4! And it's definitely an improvement over the Note II screen.

The next hurdle is will it be delivered to my Auckland address at the weekend so I can take it to work with me (I'm working in Wellington all next week). Or will the delivery notification sit in my postbox until I return?

Just hope they send on Friday for Saturday delivery.

Just been into a Vodafone store to change the plan for my iPad (need to find the funds from somewhere for pay for the $140 monthly charge for having a nice phone) and heard that there's a big promo party at Vodafone's offices this evening.... I did point out that they should enjoy my $140 worth of booze!

It is disappointing that no carrier is prepared to just front up with outright sales on Saturday. 2degrees rep said that they will only be selling on contract Saturday and Sunday. I don't believe the 'shortage' story. If Telecom, Vodafone or 2degrees wanted to earn some kudos from their customers then stop mucking us around.

All it means is that we the customer buy from one of the large retail chains. Dissapointing to say the least.

why would they, their money is made from contracts they aren't electronics stores.

anyways its nothing new did the same last year

my apologies if you mistook my post for trolling it wasn't the intention just answering your post as I see it.

I suppose I'm dreading all the posts trashing samsung/telco's/retailers when things don't go the way they want. Should be used to it by now you only need to go into any new gadgets thread prior to thier arrival to get my drift.

Ug tell me about it, the amount of people I've read so far moaning about pricing and availability of the S4 and the One amaze me, they are brand new devices, with limited stock, being sent to over 30 countries world wide....get real

Just been phoned by Vodafone and informed that my new phone will be in my hands on Saturday...
