My Desire just arrived this morning and it's gorgeous!  Beats the hell out of my old 2G iphone.
It took about two weeks to get hear via Royal Mail / NZPost and NZPost charged me an importers fee which is new to me as I've never been hit with that before.

Mine just got dispatched from Clove and is sitting 'In Transit' at Feltham, UK.  Sweet!

Not that it matters at the moment though with the vomit the mountain is spewing :S

Excited,

Clove has just increased their price to GBP350, and are advising of delays due to large volumes of orders.  glad i ordered mine yesterday.

Yeh I saw that. Has put me off buying it. Puts the price up by $50 plus the additional GST.

NZtechfreak: Hmmn, looking at GSMarena you appear to be right (not sure which handset I'm thinking of, perhaps the Supersonic that they are making exclusively for Sprint?).

Was the codenamed Supersonic releasing as the Evo using 4G/Wiimax on Sprint.

Alright have done some hunting around and found a place that does the HTC Desire than Clove, only by 5 pounds, but after conversion it's about a $15 diference. So could be worthwhile for some.

Hey Jerry.  I've had the same issue.  To be fair their system dates etc will likely be auto generated and its probably not much of a priority to overide these at this time.  They have posted a general notice on our tracking pages stating the volcanoe is disrutpting flights to/from Europe.

Mine shipped out on 14th, the day everything went down abd had delivery date of April 19 by 6pm.  All that happened when shipping exception notices started appearing was the 'on schedule' message disappeared.  Once the delivery date expired, it simply disappeared.

I appreciate the logistical issues that FedEx must be having but it would be nice for them to update the tracking info with something a bit mroe than the now obvious - like if they are trying to reroute via other means or if packages will only leave once flights resume - just be nice to know what they're thinking.  I've been charged the GST due to their system last Friday telling them it was due Monday even though nothing's arrived and as far as I can tell its still sitting in the UK at Heathrow.

I have the same thing. The tracking details show that it has gone to one of the smaller airports around London - will be interesting to see if the "relaxed" no fly zones around Europe will make a difference...
