Shrapnel: Hey there, Sorry to butt into this thread, but I've been trying to update My Telecom SGS to 2.2 from 2.1. I've tried the patch solution set to TNZ which I know other have had success with but it did not make a difference(had false success when I didn't change the patcher to my phone version hence updating my phone with the same firmware it had) . My current firmware version is JL1. If anyone has any ideas on getting this phone to update it would be great, I don't want to root or flash anything though :), just officially update it. I have been using the latest version of Kies.

Damager: Hmm who's flashed their own cooked ROMs so far and how's it going?
Nice they have a Captivate kitchen too, woo hoo.I've only ever flashed variants of Setiron's kernel so will read up on the glitterballs and hardcore kernels to get an idea of what they're all about.

Shrapnel:

. . . . .It's a bit quiet here at the moment. Either people have a really bad hangover, or they're on holiday, perhaps even having a life way from the computer. But NEVER away from their phone
