Dial111: I wonder if Samsung will do special trade ins again through Ingram Micro.

This is the $2000 question. I would expect a decent bundle of free things, discounts and hopefully extra trade in value. I wouldn't expect it to be as good as the one with the Note 9 because that didn't have as many new features (like a hole in the screen) as the S10 so they had to promo it harder.

Samsung managed to squeeze the same size screen of a Note 9 into a shorter body of S10+ with 100mAh more in battery size, I am impressed.

As with every Samsung I and friends, family have owned, the actual battery performance is not anywhere close to what is claimed, if you completely strip the OS down it may only just get close to the claimed figured. iPhone's on the other hand do great in that department.

I won't be buying a SamSh1t this generation unless the false battery claims are put to bed.

As long as Samsung doesn't do any aggressive memory management and app/battery optimisation and I can get close to a day and a half of battery life out of it I'd be happy

I think that's a Android thing rather than Samsung. I am totally happy with the battery on my note 9 (4000mah)

As with every Apple I and friends, family have owned, the actual phone's performance is not anywhere close to what is claimed. That's because Apple deliberately degraded the iphone's performance without bothering to tell the users. Samsung's on the other hand do great in that department.

I won't be buying a Apple again unless they stop secretly messing around with phone performance.

Yes. Have tried to watch it. What a waste of time (these presentations are so 2010). Will give it an hour and look at some summaries

Edit: First report in. Samsung Fold. Kind of chunky and likely to be $3000 here, but a two device in one deal.
And an in-screen fingerprint sensor on the S10. No more smudges on the camera lens.

I have a very tired S7 Edge that still works but with a bit of wear on the fingerprint scanner. Still works though. I'm a candidate for an S10+ but it looks like this will be fairly aggressively priced. If it's $1,800 then I'll just get a Note 9 instead.

Boy that Foldable phone looks absolutely gorgeous, first impression based on the videos is that they implemented it the best way possible. It's a shame it's not a little bigger when unfolded.

Jesus, me too. I haven't wanted a device like this for a long time.

My only real issue(s) will be weight, thickness and screen size for the primary screen. I am VERY used to my plus sized phones now.

Another year, another Galaxy. I see nothing game changing. Will happily keep my Note 9. The blatant rip off of Huawei's reverse charging is hilarious. Most exciting feature to me is Wifi AX.
