Cost for me was ~$810 to Clove and a few cents under $100 to the government.

kiwitrc: I paid $103, but it will be a lot less than that now as the NZ$ vs GBP is much stronger. There are no extra costs from FEDEX, they are all inclusive once you pay for the freight.

I paid $97 and I got my phone about a day or two (at most) later than you :) But yeah, sometimes you get lucky with the exchange rate.

Clove is out of stock for the Desire, AGAIN. These are selling like hotcakes!! :)

Oh wait, I ordered a spare battery, forgot about that, that would explain the difference.

According to the documents I got from FEDEX (had to ask for them) it seems GST is not charged on the freight, only the goods.

Hmm, that's a pretty good price!

I should read this entire thread, I might be interested in getting a desire :)

Mm, so tempting..
With a flip case + postage + gst, I can get it from Clove for ~$930NZ.. I happen to have that sitting around..

What I want to know is will I miss the hardware keyboard? (From my HTC Touch pro)

...just be careful ordering accessories as they may not be in stock and have to be backordered... I was sent the phone but no screen protector and ended up cancelling the screen protector...
