http://www.trademe.co.nz/mobile-phones/mobile-phones/htc/auction-588230511.htm

and a 64gb Developer Edition

http://www.trademe.co.nz/mobile-phones/mobile-phones/htc/auction-588545858.htm

Don't think anyone will be buying those at those prices...

The developer one has the Q&A section disabled, how long have you been able to do that for?

A part of me wishes there was a company out there from whom we could rent/hire/trial the latest and greatest phones. I'm a long-term iPhone guy but am sorely tempted by the HTC One.

However, I'm not quite $1,200-tempted, you know?

The HTC One is a very very nice looking phone, is well made and fits well in the hand.  Storage is just over 25 Gb.  Battery life seems quite good so far.

One thing I'm having a battle with the HTC sync manager, I want to be able to sync my Outlook calendar. I keep getting a run time error.  A quick Google shows this to be a known issue. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

I uninstalled it as it kept enabling USB debugging.

I didn't need Outlook sync since I use outlook.com and exchange accounts.

If you want the feature you can still find Google calendar sync somewhere on the web.

Could you give us seller and price? Presumably GST will be payable?
