People in the US reporting it to HTC were being told it was "physical damage" outside the warranty....

Just bought my Sensation yesterday - loving it.... but - where do you get tis display of battery use?  What app have you loaded?  I have tried a couple, but found nothing as good as this for showing the timeline of what is enabled..

It's a standard part of Gingerbread Android. Go to Settings > About phone > Battery > Battery use. If you click the graph it expands.

Wow! That was well hidden. Many thanks. Again, this forum is a mine of wonderful information.

My next mission is how to get 2.3.4 installed, so I can do video on google talk. I see lots of notes that htc is going to allow root access 'soon '. Maybe the next update, whenever that happens.

Hey Guys. I've just come back from the Telecom shop and was quite interested in the HTC until I questioned the guy about the messaging facility. Now I might be being a bit picky here but if I am paying between 500 and a thousand bucks for a phone then I would at least expect to be able to change the size of the font so I could actually read it. He reckons that all smart phones are the same. Please someone tell me this isn't the case??

He is talking bs. You can change the text size easily in the Messaging app by going to Menu > More > Text size
