toii: Got mine at the weekend - very nice phone :)  I am using it on Telecom XT network.  I put the 4G SIM in and am getting 60Mbps downstream and 12.5Mbps upstream at my desk in Auckland CBD.  Got to be happy with that.

Finally got my 4G microsim on Friday. 113 Mbps down, 34 Mbps up at my office in Newmarket. More than double the speed of the home VDSL!

Just be careful running 4G speed tests though - they chew thru 100 MB of data each time. 1 test blew out the rest of my monthly data on Friday  - just as well I rolled into a new month on Saturday  Now all we need is some decent data caps.

My monthly data allowance refreshes tomorrow and luckily I have plenty left.  Second test was 72M down and 14M up.  Still not quite up to your results which are amazing.

By the way - I'm on Telecom.

There was someone earlier in this thread using Vodafone on the Shore who posted a screenshot closer to 150 Mbps IIRC.

Surely there is something wrong, have you phoned them?

Mine arrived in Auckland on the 18 th, was held for clearance and payment. I received a letter from nzpost 3 days later, paid my duty and received the phone on the 22 nd. Did you use YouShop?

Thanks. And thanks Northover. Yea I've called NZ Post but they've said that it's with Customs. Called Customs and they said I need to call NZ Post. Tried twice on two separate days just in case I got different responses. Also tried online via the NZ Post web chat. They told me to ring customs and get an entry number but they said it's not in their system yet. Wonderful.

Did you call the number I listed the other day? give them your tracking number and they should be able to figure out what's going on.

Mine was released from customs at 11 this morning, should be in my hands tomorrow, finally

Yeap. I must have got a muppet. Usually I respect places like these as I realise the working environment can be busy/stressful. However, this seems like just plain inability really. They're not even very friendly on the phone and they don't really seem like they have a clue and don't show any interest in customer service. I didn't bug them in the first week as I realise that if we all did that, they'd get thousands of calls and won't get any packages out...however, after 2 weeks, I expect some courtesy/decency/follow-up and a clear answer as to where things are at and what I can expect moving forward. Useless pr*cks. /rant over

Good to hear you're getting yours though :)

Yes by the way. I've had about 12 packages arrive through YouShop :) Never any issues.

What do you know, just got an email from Becextech that my N5-32GB it's on it's way, with a tracking code. I can see it left HK today.
Let's see if there are any issues with customs or not :)

Started getting phased out when the basebands began to integrate LTE - 3G versions of the S III & Note II had FM while the 4G versions didn't. I'd sooner have LTE than FM, but the FM radio did come in handy during the Christchurch earthquakes.
