399 AUD vs' 349 USD - Comes to only $35 NZD more, and I assume the AUD version has LTE for NZ?

Not too worried about no LTE, 3g is fast enough for me.

I ordered at 7:10 AM...10 mins after it unveiled.

Got the receipt from Google within 2 minutes. And it says my card won't be charged till shipping...but it's gonna ship by November 5th.

After that i went back to play store ...and no "instock" status....so it's sold out.

I put billing and postal address at my youshop address. Not sure if that will work? Although it appears my CC has already been charged. There is a $502.35 discrepancy between my CC balance and my available balance which usually means either a hold or a charge has been put through. Haven't used the card for a few days so pretty sure that has to be the N5 charge. Unless they just put a temporary hold when order is placed, reverse it an hour or two later and charge when it is shipped?

How much do you think it will be by the time it gets here? Like through Noel Leeming or Harvey Norman.

Right now 32gb model in Australia is at $449, which is approx. $515 NZD.

That's exactly what I did except I used my debit card, and some of my balance got put on hold there too. Hopefully this goes through and I'll have a shiny new phone in a fortnight

I'd say a lot, I checked pricespy to see how much the Nexus 4 was at release and it started off over $800

My sister in Toronto is getting 1 (for our Mum for Xmas) - the fast camera and ease of use is great for Mum. 350 CAD = 403 NZD.

I'll order i for me when the iq charger is available...

I actually haven't done the sums. I am guessing between $600-650 depending on customs charges. Youshop using nexus 4 box dimensions says $28 postage and then customs estimates $120, adds up a bit to be honest! I do have 8 days to change my mind before it ships so will keep a close eye on things and cancel order if it looks like I can get a better deal elsewhere.

Wow what a rip-off. I bet that's for 16gb model as well.

I might have to figure out a way to ship one from Australia to NZ then.
