SomePostman: I want a pixel phone for the live captioning and translation functions.

But can anyone confirm what doesn't work in NZ?

Most of the functions work, including live caption and the spam call filtering.

I think a couple of things are region locked so don't work outside of select countries, namely car crash detection, hold for me / the fancy assistant call management

The rest pretty much works fine.

Where in Aus did you source it?  I'd very much like to do the same. All the parallel imported versions in NZ i've seen are the Japanese version

You need to actually use it and verify the connection indicator stays on 4G during a call.

My Pixel 7 also arrived via my flatmate from Australia today. All seems to be working ok!

Also, my flatmate was able to claim the GST back via the TRS scheme, which was awesome.

Also again, I bought mine via Harvey Norman AU, they also gave me a bonus $150AUD gift card. If anyone would like to buy this gift card off me for a slight discount, let me know (note can only be used in AU Harvey Norman's).

Nice. How do you get VoWiFi working? My wife's S22 should be able to do that, but doesn't seem to work on Skinny.

Just plugged in the sim and waited. Took about 20 minutes until it started working.

Also make sure you have the "4G calling" switch enabled under the sim settings.

Have a look at what *#*#4636#*#* is saying.

Has anyone managed to get a trade-in deal with cash back or similar from Australia? I know it's available in the USA, but haven't heard about AU.
