So hopefully we should be able to buy it soon based on this :

Let's hope. Last time I spoke with VF and Samsung (a week ago or so) neither appeared to have the faintest idea when we'd see the phone, really. Not even a goal date they were working towards!

As unlucky as it might sound for Samsung:

This doesnt seem to be going in favor of Samsung

Does anyone have any form of contact for any Samsung person in NZ? They are seriously trying to shaft me here and every person in the call centre in the Philipines has absolutely no clue what they are doing whatsoever.

Clearly asked for a refund for my Note7 and they have sent a replacement and refusing to take it back and refund me. Its unopened and I have since bought an S7 edge.  Sooo wild, after around 10 calls, speaking to the 'supervisor' and all I get told is "they can't help me"

Any clues anyone?

In Christchurch

I was told they wouldn't touch it and had to go through the right channels... but the so called 'right channels' are not exactly working for them

They also have a kiosk in Westfield Albany Mall.

Have you tried any of the NZ help avenues showing on this page?

The 0800 numbers all go overseas. I have sent an email to 4 different NZ email addresses that I have found, but won't hold my breath.

Where do you live? If you're in or near Auckland, I would seriously consider just fronting up at the reception desk of their corporate office in The Warehouse Way, Northcote, and politely but forcefully/assertively demand to see someone who will listen to your complaint.

i would be very surprised if you don't find someone who will 'take ownership' of the matter for you.

Oh believe me, I would! I'm in Chch unfortunately. I work in customer services myself and fuming to think a company as large as Samsung would treat a customer this way. My old iPhone is looking pretty good right now haha

I've spammed 4 email addresses and their facebook page, not a bean yet.

Do you have any written communication where you asked for a refund instead of the replacement?

If so, you can mention the "Consumer Guarantees Act" and that if not helped, then you have written proof of request for a refund and they pushing the handset as a replacement instead of that
