Hi

I have just finished Updating ICS for my Samsung Galaxy Note. The UI for home screen and Apps remain the same as it was in 2.3.6

Is there any settings to enable the default ICS new look as advertised in Android website.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Prabu

Perhaps you would like a more basic explanation, of the points implied in the posts above. Samsung have decided that familiarity is more important to users than the latest android appearances, so have skinned their android updates with "Touchwiz", which hasnt changed since before 2.3.6, as you now know.

Your options are a third party launcher or ROM. This is an app that you can get from the market place that lets you customise the skin. I use Launcher Pro. Alternatively, you can root it and add a vanilla 4.0 (ICS) ROM and get it the way that google intended, and indeed advertised on the google website.
