So it seems my Samsung Galaxy Note 1's (which I bought in 2012) charging port seems to be dying.. I plug the usb cable into the phone, and I practically have to push the tip of the charging cable down in order to be able to activate the charger, or else it just won't charge when plugged in normally!

I'm pretty sure this is probably the charging port pins being damaged and not just the battery dying?

Is it easy to tamper (or even replace) the charging port on the Galaxy Note 1?
