*** OFFER IS NOW CLOSED AND LIST ALREADY SENT TO 2Degrees ***

Hello folks. I was approached by Huawei and 2degrees to facilitate this exclusive offer to Geekzone members.

The Offer:

  • 2degrees and Huawei will launch the Nexus 6P 64GB to the general market from Nov 2nd at $1,199 RRP, and $38.75 per month on a $39 plan or above, with $29 upfront. This is a saving of $10 per month over 24months = $240 in total
  • Geekzone members have an exclusive Pre-launch offer that gives them either;

    • a 10% discount off the handset for an outright purchase at $1,079.10 (saving $119.90)
    • On a Pay Monthly $39 plan or above with $29 upfront this $1,079.10 would normally be $43.75 per month over 24months, but Geekzone members will also get the launch offer of $10 off per month so for them will be $33.75 per month – overall saving of $359.90 over 24 months. This Offer ends November 1st
  • Geekzone members also get priority access to these handsets before launch
  • From November 2nd to November 29th the 10% discount for outright purchase and the $10 per month over 24 months discount will still apply but some other details of Pay Monthly plans will change.
  • For those who buy through the on-line store using the provided link or sign up by 12.00pm on Nov 1st, their handset will ship out on November 2nd . Delivery may take up to 3 days for South Island addresses.

The rules:

  • Offer limited to Geekzone users who were registered when this topic went live.
  • Interested users can send me a PM (click the email button) with full name, contact phone number, contact email address, if you are currently an existing 2degrees customer, the option of outright purchase or going on a plan and handset option (64GB Graphite, 64GB Frost or 128GB Graphite). Note 128GB and 64GB have different RRP but the discount is proportional (see table below).
  • I will send the final list on the morning of Tuesday Oct 27th
  • For those who want to purchase outright 2degrees will send an email with a 10% one time use discount codes plus link for online purchase. This link will be valid until end of November.
  • For those who want to sign-up on a plan 2degrees will send an email with details of the plans and a special number to dial into Telesales. This plan offer is valid to November 1st. After this date the option to sign-up will still be available until the end of November but the plan details will change slightly.
[UPDATE]

Please note: if you send me a PM without the information requested above it will be a waste of both our times and I will give priority to other people in the list as I have a lot of messages coming in.

Adding the options:

  • Nexus 6P 64GB Graphite
  • Nexus 6P 64GB Frost
  • Nexus 6P 128GB Graphite only (RRP is $1349)

Hi everyone,

Just want to clarify a couple of questions that have been coming up.

The discount codes that have been sent out for the Nexus 6P 64GB Graphite are valid until midnight Sunday Nov 29th, and you can also sign-up on a Plan until 8.00pm on the same day. When the 128GB Graphite units come in (expected by Nov 20th) then we will send new codes to the people who selected that and those codes will be valid for 15 days from then, and ability to sign on a plan will also be valid for 15 days.

For Warranty claims where the Bootloader has been unlocked (the Qfuse is triggered) Huawei have advised that they will treat these on a case by case basis. There is no blanket policy to reject claims for this reason and it is likely that the claim will only be declined if there is obvious physical or water damage as expected.

Semble will not be supported on the Nexus 6P.

Orders for the 64GB Graphite units will ship out on Monday and some Auckland addresses may get them same day. Otherwise they will arrive from Tuesday morning.

And finally, to make up for the issues over the last couple of days, Huawei have agreed to send a free Chromecast (current model) out with each Nexus 6P 64GB Graphite from Monday, and with the 128GB Graphite when that comes in.

Have a great weekend!

Regards,

2degrees

MDOS80: Anyone received their 128GB code yet? I see the post was from yesterday saying they'd be sent today (aka. yesterday), but haven't got my code as yet.

The post is from this morning. Calm down everyone.
