Samsung A3 2017, Android 7.0.

Whenever I view a photo in Messenger, it saves to the phone without me doing anything. If I look at Gallery, I can see all the Messenger photos there, and have to go through deleting them. It’s a pain.

Where is the setting to stop that happening?

In Messenger click on your pic top right to get to settings,

 

then its under photos and media.




Doing your best is much more important than being the best.

open your settings, go to photos and media, and change the settings
