Hey fellow geeks!

My Samsung S7 crapped out and instead of fixing it, I'm thinking of buying another phone. I'm tired of carrying two phones and looking for one with two SIMs and SD card. I know they exist but I haven't found anything at 2 degrees, WS, or NL... Is my only option buying a parallel import phone?

Another thing that concerns me is ANZ FastPay terminal. I've used it with S7 and the list of devices they support is rather outdated... Haven't seen any dual SIM phones there either and they advise that parallel imported phone may not work.

Getting really confused with all the options...

So, apparently, most dual SIM phones only support 2G in 2nd SIM, making it almost useless in NZ. I have Skinny and 2 degrees cards.

That was some time ago. The last few years have seen improved chipsets bring 3G (or even 4G) support to the second SIM. All of the Moto and Oppo devices I mentioned support 3G for SIM2 and will work with any combination of NZ SIM cards.

Only low end devices sub ~$200 or old models will be 2G only for SIM2 these days.
