I believe this will be officially unveiled very shortly. I've skipped on the Samsung Galaxy S5, but may decide to switch to this one.

The specs do look good.

- Telstra HTC Touch Pro2 - Energy ROM WM6.5.5 20 Oct/Cyanogen Mod Froyo 2.2 - R.I.P
- AT&T Galaxy S Captivate 16GB on XT (now with brother)
- Samsung Galaxy S2 on XT- Runs ICS 4.0.3 Resurrection Remix 9.2
- Business Hours - Work In The Electricity Industry, After Hours - DJ/Turntablist - Will Scratch Vinyl For Free'
- What's next??? S3?

Yes, I'm interested. The G2 was possibly the best balanced flagship outside of the Note class devices last year, so keen to see what LG do this year with things like battery optimisation (the details the leaks haven't provided).

Very interested.

S5 Prime and One Prime also have peaked my interest. Especially if the rumors are true of a MUCH higher quality camera on the One.

+1

The G3 specs looks top notch on paper but what I am most interested is the material it will be made of, is it going to be plastic made to look like metal or all metal. No mention of this in the leaks but I'd say the former?

Yep...will probably get this phone if it is not too big...Just got the G2 and like it a whole lot more than the S5..way better phone to use in my opinion as a daily driver. I also like LG's approach to customisation on the G2, I'm looking forward to seeing what they do this time around with the G3.

Might be rubbish, but I'm guessing it is going to be a good phone.

Well, that's a dam sexy phone with some solid specs. The laser on the side sounds interesting. Hopefully the camera has seen an improvement, was thinking they might have bumped up the pixel count to 16 to keep with the S5, was even hoping for a 20. Hopefully they've improved on the low light quality.

Now to wait for the S5 and HTC One Prime.

Not sure about buttons on the back. I would really need to handle this rather large handset before i could commit to what looks like an awesome device.

Here's a link comparing sizes to other flagship devices Pretty great size I think, the tiny bezels really help.  http://www.androidcentral.com/pictures-lg-g3-versus-samsung-galaxy-s5-htc-one-m8-sony-xperia-z2

Not sure I'm ready for a plastic phone though, used to my HTC One M7's build quality

I wasn't sure about it either, but you quickly get used to it and now that I have a Note 3, I actually find I prefer the buttons on back.

Mmmm...another plastic clad phone made to look like metal like the S3 did.

Looking at photos of the G3 sitting alongside other flagships of this year, the M8 still looks apart.

The S3 LOOKED cheap and tacky and felt even worse in the hand.

The G3 looks pretty flash and from early hands on they say it feels the part too.

You can buy other back plates, heck I just picked up a pretty nice carbon fiber cover for my Note 3 to get rid of the awful faux leather

Considering giving up in my ambitions to nab a OnePlus One in favour of this phone. Looks very very nice.
